Since we didn't plan on driving too far today there was no rush to get going. We finished packing, loaded the car, watered the plants and left the house about 8:30. We made on stop for gas in Howard, NY and the drove on to Corning, NY where we had lunch at the Market Street Brewing Company. We were here a couple of years ago but it was still worth the stop. Unfortunately Market Street was closed and being repaved so all of downtown Corning was too dirty and stinky to roam around...plus it was 91 degrees. We ate and got back on the road!
We arrived at the Binghamton, NY DoubleTree Hotel at 3:45. It's a nice place and the free cookies were great! We are on the 10th floor with a view of some rolling hills and the Susquehanna River.
In a bit we will find someplace for dinner. We looked up the local breweries and not one of them is open on Mondays!!!

| I pumped the gas and Cheri went in this place to use the facilities. All she said was, "Yech!". |
 |
| 2 beers please. Cheri enjoyed the Mad Bug Lager...I forget what mine was... |
